Thane offers a number of different payment options when purchasing your products directly from our website or over the phone. This may include various credit card companies or web based payment systems, alongside instalment plans.

Payment Plans

As well as providing a single pay option at checkout, allowing you to pay for your products up-front. Thane also provide options for various payment plans, either powered by Stripe or OpenPay. Payment plans are made available on an offer by offer basis and will differ based on the product and the price. Typically payments may be split into:

  • 2 Pay
  • 3 Pay
  • 4 Pay
  • 6 Pay
  • 12 Pay

Typically the cost of the basket excluding p&p is divided by the number of payments.

The initial payment + p&p cost is paid upon dispatch of the product.

The following payments are automatically configured to charge every 30 days after that initial purchase, with no need for any action on your part.

The payments are typically interest free and allow you to spread the payments over many months.

An example:

Oliver selects an H2O HD Steam Cleaner for £99.99. He chooses a payment plan that splits the payments in 3. This means he pays 3 instalments of £33.33. The first instalment is paid up-front. He also pays £5.99 for delivery. This is also paid up-front. This leaves Oliver with 2 more payments to make, each of £33.33. The first of these will be automatically charged 30 days after the initial purchase. The last payment will follow another 30 days after that.

FAQs

How do I pay for my order?

We accept all payment cards except American Express. We also support PayPal and OpenPay on our website. We do not accept Cheques, Postal Orders or cash on delivery.

When will my payment be debited from my payment card?

We will seek authorisation on your payment card when you place your order to ensure that your payment has been approved by your payment card issuer, however, we will only debit your payment card once we have dispatched your order. Your payment card issue may however hold the funds until you complete or cancel the transaction.

My payment card has been debited but I have not received my order?

You can track your order with your order reference number and email address which you provided at the time you placed your order. Please visit out shipping info page. If you have received a Card from the Courier advising you of an attempted delivery, please call them ASAP to avoid your order being returned to us. The contact number will be on the card. If you provided additional instructions at the time of placing your order i.e. “Leave with Neighbour” please check with your Neighbour as the order may be with them. If you provided us with your mobile telephone number and/or email address we will send you a message on the morning of delivery to advise you that your order will be delivered and will also provide you whenever possible with a one hour time slot.

I want to update my instalment plan

We understand that sometimes situations change and you may have to delay or reduce your monthly instalments due to external circumstances. If this is the case it is advised to contact us immediately. If you do not contact us and fail to pay there is a possibility your details may be passed onto a debt collection agency. It is important to note that this is not a step we want to take, so please contact us if you need to find a solution.
